Scope Of Work
Robinson Construction Company was awarded an expansion project with the purpose of increasing the production of ethanol at the facility from 20 million gallons per year to over 33 million gallons per year. The project involved installation of additional equipment, piping, and required foundations. Equipment installed includes molecular sieve vessels, evaporators, a beer column, a 550,000 gal stainless steel field-erected beer well, a 30,000 gal liquefaction tank, as well as numerous other systems. Piping installed includes approximately 3000 lin ft stainless steel sizes 1/2 in. through 20 in. Approximately 19 pumps of various configurations were installed along with plate and frame heat exchangers. Robinson provided the majority of the design and all construction services for this project.
