Scope Of Work
Winner of the coveted 2017 AIA New York Design Award (Best in Competition) & the 2016 Best of Design Award in Facade, Columbia Medical University is a sight to behold. Beacon Interiors procured the installment of one of the most complicated window treatment projects in New York City history. With gasping ceiling heights, double & triple height shade requirements, a combination of both motorized -manual shades, and both floor to ceiling and ceiling to floor shades, this installation was not for the feint of heart. To top it all off, there was rarely a flat ceiling line anywhere to be found in the facade. The CUMC project was a true marvel and a project Beacon Interiors is proud to have been a part of.
