Scope Of Work

Barnhart-Reese provided design-build services with our partner AVRP Studios for the Sharp Chula Vista Parking Structure and Loop Road. The project is Phase 1 of the Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center Master Plan, preparing the site for a new 102 bed tower building. The new cast-in-place parking structure includes 726 parking stalls in 7 stories, with a distinctive elevator enclosure featuring colored glass.

Also included in Phase 1 is a new cooling tower regulated by OSHPD which will be tied into the new tower building, along with the new utility infrastructure needed for the future expansion. The addition of the loop road will enhance the entryway at Medical Center Court, providing improved vehicle and pedestrian circulation on the new campus.
