Scope Of Work
Originally built in 1886, it was the home of theatrical and musical culture when Lexington was known as the “Athens of the West.” Through the efforts of civic leaders and philanthropists, it was restored to its original opulence. Deteriorated materials were removed, existing structures repaired and reinforced, and state-of-the-art mechanical and electrical infrastructure were installed. In addition, painstaking restoration of the building’s ornate plasterwork and elaborate finishes were accomplished with attention to historical detail and skilled craftsmanship.Lexington Center Corporation
