Scope Of Work
O&G is the managing partner currently working on one of the “largest and most complex transportation renewal initiative ever undertaken in the State of Connecticut” according to Governor Dannel Malloy.
The Joint Venture of O&G and Tutor Perini Corporation began working on the six-year, $356 million I-95 / I-91 / Route 34 Interchange project in April of 2011. The project is part of a larger series of projects that collectively make up a $2 billion dollar New Haven Harbor Q Crossing Corridor Improvement Program scheduled for completion in 2016.
With 140,000 vehicles per day passing through this segment of highway, this project focuses on the reconstruction of one of the state’s busiest interchanges between I-95, I-91 and Route 34.
Work on this critical artery in the Connecticut highway system involves replacing aging overpasses, widening lanes and recon?guring lane changes over a 7.2 mile stretch of highway leading up to the Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge.
