Scope Of Work
The Baldwin Bridge project involved the new construction of a 2,626.5 feet long, 163 feet wide (four 12-foot lanes in each direction plus shoulders and a pedestrian/bicycle path). The project included 488 precast segments, some up to 140 tons, cast over a 19-month period with 1,776 piles driven. The project also included:
Foundation and pier bases concrete: Pier columns - 34,110 cy; Superstructure (precast) - 15,780 cy; Superstructure - 32,248 cy; Cast-in-Place – 773 cy; Tremie – 15,573 cy
Rebar - 12,725,500 lbs.
Post tensioning – 3,045,768 lbs (strand), 193,726 lbs. (bars)
