Scope Of Work

Scope: In support of the USDA Forest Service, DAWSON is contracted to prepare an Engineering Evaluation/Cost Analysis (EE/CA) for the Upper Pinto Creek Mine Sites in the Tonto National Forest near Globe-Miami, Arizona. The objective of the EE/CA is to sample and analyze site elements at multiple abandoned mine sites, i.e. tailings, sediments, and ore/waste rock piles, buried or on the surface, that potentially pose a threat to human health and the environment. The EE/CA report will include a human and ecological risk assessment, removal action alternatives, engineering evaluation of the alternatives, and a recommended alternative for removal action.
