Scope Of Work

Scope: In support of USACE Savannah District, DAWSON performed asbestos and lead based paint surveys and abatement in six buildings encompassing 146,217 square feet of abatement area. We were responsible for project management and reporting; cost estimating; preparing the APP, SSHP, field sampling plan, and WP; conducting the site inspection, asbestos and lead based paint survey, assessment report, and abatement plan; field oversight; construction support; analytical support and data validation; cost estimate for abatement and disposal; developing technical and final reports; and TO closeout. Fort Jackson involved preparing a WP and SSHP; collecting samples for asbestos and lead based paint in numerous buildings to plan for remediation or demolition; and preparation of estimates for remediation and reports.  This project is completed and closed out.
