Our company's humble beginnings trace back over eighty years. Three decades ago we began our building, and haven't stopped since. Great-grandfather passed the trade onto the grandfather, who shared his skills with the uncle who passed it down to his grandsons. The torch is now held by our current owner, Shane Downs, who has taken the generation of experience to heart and applies them to each project he takes on.

Born and raised in Santa Barbara, California, Downs provides his hometown and surrounding areas with services in every phase of construction. 

We are more than just a family of builders biologically. At Associated Construction, the members of our team are more than simply coworkers. We are a close-knit family, always looking out for one another.

The care we have for one another within the company expands to our client base. We feel that you too should have a personal connection with each of us, and we strive to establish just that in order to give you a finished product that replicates exactly what you had imagined and so that you can feel comfortable communicating your ideas freely with us
