Scope Of Work
Delivered via a design-build delivery method this new 144,000 SF two-story middle school prototype will serve 1,200 students in grades six-eight. It will be constructed of a structural steel frame, with a masonry, glass and metal panel exterior.
The ground floor of the building will include the sixth-grade academic wing, classrooms, labs, administrative offices, nursing and student support functions. The lower level will also house security, a media center, indoor gymnasium and locker rooms, performance stage, cafeteria and servery, music, band and dance rooms, loading dock and mechanical/electrical rooms. The second story will house the classrooms, science and computer labs and art rooms for the seventh and eighth grades. The new school project will also include new bus and car entryways, a parking lot, new landscaping and multi-purpose athletic fields.
