Scope Of Work

The project involves the design and construction of a 5,000 sf addition to the existing Dental Clinic facility at Ft. Drum, NY. The addition is a single story building with masonry facade and combination of standing seam metal and low sloped membrane roof systems. The addition includes a basement for utility access to the twelve dental treatment spaces. Along with the dental treatment areas the addition provides spaces for administrative support, patient waiting, private screening, x-ray, dental equipment storage and mechanical/electrical rooms.

This Dental Clinic Addition is designed to allow construction to proceed with minimal disruption to the patients and staff of the existing dental clinic that is required to remain in full operation during the construction of this addition. SAI’s design greatly minimizes the impact to the existing facility through the use of a Clinic to Addition “connector” that does not require any disruption to the existing dental clinic roof. The use of temporary separation partitions, dust control and off-hour work activities will further prevent construction caused disruption to the Clinic operation.
