Scope Of Work
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Building was constructed in 1979 w/out any major renovations. Building requiring structural, cosmetic, energy improvement and updating to meet code / standard guidelines. Roof contained 12% asbestos. There was a complete demo of 9,700 sf. interior and exterior masonry. Installed / constructed completely new interior, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, walls, and ceiling and flooring, which had some asbestos. The roofing and brick veneer was removed and steel reinforcements were added to the walls. Four doors were added along with new windows for daylight exposure and new roof. Brick veneer and insulated metal siding was installed. Value Engineering: Instead of multiple instantaneous domestic water heaters, a central high efficiency hot water heater was provided for most domestic hot water. Instead of strengthening door / window jambs with steel bars inside the cores, steel angles or steel channels were used.
