Scope Of Work

Quandel Construction served as General Contractor to build a new, multi-million dollar, full-service maintenance facility for Fayette  in Ohio. The new facility includes:

• a 5,000-ton salt storage building
• Four, 6,000-gallon brine tanks
• a 10,000 SF cold storage building
• a truck storage building and automatic truck wash
• 4,000 SF of office space

It’s the first facility of its kind in the state to house salt, brine tanks and the brine mixing station under one roof instead of in separate buildings. This allows crews to fill up with brine and load salt at the same time, providing better service to the ’s 400+ lane miles.
