Scope Of Work
Lendlease was the construction manager for this two phased 95,000 square foot renovation of two key research buildings at AstraZeneca's Wilmington, Delaware campus.
The project scope included complete interior demolition of existing lab, lab support and office areas as well as the construction of new state of the art laboratories utilizing a flexible laboratory furniture/casework concept. Phase 1 consisted of the renovation of approximately 20,000 square feet of lab space, which when completed provided swing space to move Phase II area occupants allowing for the renovation of 75,000 square feet of lab space. Scope also included the upgrade of existing building equipment and utilities, including air handling units, exhaust fans, heating skids, etc.
This project received its LEED-CI Gold certification in July of 2008.
