Scope Of Work
1 Java Street will transform a 2.6-acre full city block located on the Greenpoint-Williamsburg waterfront into the next generation of sustainable and dynamic multi-family living in New York City. 1 Java Street is envisioned as a resilient, mixed-use development including over 800 residential rental units, with 30% of the apartments designated as affordable housing under the Affordable New York Housing Program, and 13,000+ square feet of neighborhood retail uses.
The property will also encompass a re-imagined waterfront esplanade with improved connection to the India Street Pier and NYC Water Ferry.
Given Lendlease and Aware Supers shared commitment toward achieving the highest sustainability outcomes, the 1 Java Street project will target a range of initiatives including LEED Gold, FitWel and WEDG Waterfront Certification.
