Syd is a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina. He specializes in soils and foundation engineering as well as design and construction of retaining walls, pedestrian bridges, boardwalks, and trails. He has been working in the Atlanta metropolitan area since 1985 and has gained extensive experience in oversight and has worked on some of the largest and most challenging projects in Atlanta’s history, namely MARTA Transit Authority, Hartsfield International Airport, Georgia Dome, Fulton County Judicial Center, Gwinnett County Detention Center and Airport, Underground Atlanta, and Olympic Village Apartments.
Syd Mostajabi, P.E. has been involved in many of Atlanta’s and its suburbs’ park projects in different capacities, as a project engineer/manager, construction manager, and contractor. He works very closely with the City of Roswell Recreation and Parks Department as a consultant and a contractor and is a member of the Roswell Rotary Club.
