Scope Of Work
Darden Restaurants sought construction services for their Red Lobster’s “Coastal Home” concept – an adaptive reuse of an abandoned Grady’s Restaurant. T&G was awarded this project based on their track record in restaurant construction and relationship with Darden.
To adapt the old structure into Darden’s new concept, precise planning and coordination with all parties involved included the client, architect and subcontractors.
T&G’s veteran superintendent and project managers oversaw the construction of all the interior upgrades - all new finishes and equipment, new windows in the perimeter walls, a new front door system and an addition in the rear of the building.
Exterior upgrades included installation of a standing seam copper mansard roof around the perimeter of the building and a standing seam copper roof dormer on the top of the building, upgrading the exterior stucco and parking lot improvements.
T&G completed the project within the prescribed timeframe in a city known for its strict code enforcement, regulatory processes and site inspections.
