Scope Of Work
First Baptist Church had some very unique needs with their renovations and new construction. In addition to Sanctuary and Children’s Wing renovations, they needed to utilize every bit of their urban downtown land space to add much needed gathering areas for their growing congregation. They also wanted to preserve as much of the historic building as possible, as well as reconstruct the old Bell Tower. To accommodate these needs, Focus designed the new structure in such a way as to include the beautiful brick exterior and stained-glass windows of the existing sanctuary into a modern, two-story welcome area, complete with a coffee bar and sitting areas.
