Scope Of Work

JE Dunn completed the Lyon  Courthouse project, which consists of a new courthouse with detention cells and a tunnel to the existing jail that houses approximately 150 inmates. The total project size is 98,343 square feet and was completed in four phases.

The project includes demolition of five existing buildings and major utility relocation for construction of a three-story courthouse along a major intersection in Emporia, Kansas. Four high-level finish courtrooms, commissioner’s and judge’s chambers, and multiple office finishes were constructed.
