Scope Of Work
South Central Conference is located in Nashville, Tennessee and is the headquarters for the ministry of the Seventh-day Adventists in the states of Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, and portions of Florida. The conference comprises more than 29,000 members and 146 congregations.
The Conference Office began experiencing leaks in a number of areas. PBG Builders has completed numerous projects for the Conference and was called in to evaluate the source(s) of the moisture infiltration and to develop a value minded long term solution for the same. The project consisted of a detailed evaluation of the building envelope (roof, roof copings, and wall systems). PBG Builders identified numerous flashing issues, damaged areas, and weakening of the roof system due to age.
Roof, parapet, flashing and coping replacements were required. The work was completed in a manner to minimize disruption to the church officials working in the office areas below. The project was completed on schedule and under budget.
