Scope Of Work
Built in 1958, it is a well-preserved example of a mid-20th century Modern Movement school building. The school was vacant for 7 years prior to being renovated into 47 units of senior housing in Augusta, Maine. Recipient of the Maine Preservation Honor Award Members of our communities maintain an emotional attachment to old schools, where generations came of age, went to class, made friends and played sports. One of the many benefits of reusing an old school building is to keep those memories alive.
