History

Chris Cook was only 12 years old when he started mowing lawns around the neighborhood. With the push mower in the back of the family minivan, his mom drove him from one site to the next.

In 2003, he formed Cru Cutters Lawn Care as a young entrepreneur looking to provide high quality landscape work to a few clients in Northern Kentucky. Hard work and determination helped the business grow, with quality work being the main focus from day one. By 2005, the company had continued to develop and was transformed into Cru Cutters LLC. Cru Cutters was now offering more services to a larger client base, providing to both commercial and residential customers.

In 2007, Cru Cutters began offering construction services spanning hardscapes, patios, retaining walls, pools, and plant installation. By 2010, landscape construction became Cru Cutter’s main focus. Also in 2010, Cru Cutters added a lawn and plant care division.

2015 is exciting year for Cru Cutters, as we celebrate our 10th Anniversary as an LLC. We are proud of our recent success but at the same time understand this is merely the beginning. A huge THANK YOU to all of our customers, employees, suppliers and friends…without you none of this is possible.
