Scope Of Work
ConAm completed 60,000 sf of renovations to the historic KCET studio lot located in Hollywood. Interior renovations to the existing broadcast building accommodated a new floor plan and allowed for the build-out of several state of the art sound studios and mixing rooms. Additions also included a hair and makeup salon, executive preview theater, kitchen/ break room, and office space. The project required extensive structural upgrades and site improvements. Exterior upgrades included the design and construction of a steel feature stairway and revamp of the historical 1912 corridors. All construction was done while preserving historical attributes.
