Scope Of Work
The research laboratory building brings all of the school's student-faculty research teams to the Health Sciences District. With a total area of 118,676 square feet, the four-story building contains laboratories, support, research office space, academic and administrative offices, a biosafety level 3 suite and centralized service space to serve the research needs of the departments of Anatomy, Physiology and Cell Biology; Veterinary Molecular Biosciences; and Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology. The laboratory and office space is organized into similar east and west wings joined by a connecting volume containing vertical circulation, restrooms, conference and break space.
