Scope Of Work
The Biodesign Institute at Arizona State University, Building A, is a five-level (four above and one below grade), 172,000-square-foot building containing laboratory, office, and collaborative spaces. It contains laser, electromagnetic microscope, nuclear magnetic resonance and biosafety level-3 laboratories. The Institute merges formerly distinct fields of research, including: biology, chemistry, physics, medicine, agriculture, environmental science, electronics, and materials science, engineering and computing. It is used for cutting-edge biotechnology research in areas such as immunology, vaccine development, molecular biophysics, protein pharmaceuticals, nono-scale bio-optics and molecular diagnostics.
