In 2005, after 20 years managing complex projects for some of Chicago's premier construction companies, Craig Tolan founded Tolan Construction Company.  My purpose was to create a construction-management business based on the guiding principle that my corporation's priorities will never be in conflict with an owner's interests.

Our philosophy is entrepreneurial.  We welcome assuming active and complete control over planning and managing every step of your project's construction phase, from the earliest days of conceptual estimating and approvals through the physical construction and end user turn-over. We are professional managers, focused on your risk.

Managing is our only function; we do not self-perform trade work. We do not believe that you can be an advocate for the owner, focused on their risk, while managing your own.You can not serve two masters.
