Scope Of Work
William Duff Architects redesigned the entry to Hundred Acres wine cave. The vision was a geometric form emerging from the surrounding landscape. Clean lines seamlessly finished in pre-rusted, no-maintenance Cor-Ten steel accentuate the entry’s red patina in the context of the browns and greens of the natural environment. The doors are decorated with large bolts that evoke the historic functionality of steel. The doors are remote controlled which slowly part from the center until they disappear and reveal the entry to the cave.
