Scope Of Work
This project consisted of several security upgrades for the Arizona House of Representatives in Phoenix, Arizona. This project was delivered under our Job Order Contract with the State of Arizona; a relationship we have proudly nurtured since 2011. We were privileged to work with the Chief of Staff and the Deputy Chief of Staff to complete this project in a total of nine weeks.
This project included the installation of Garrett metal detectors as well as Alvarado turn styles at the entry partitions for the Arizona House of Representatives building. We raised a new custom cherry wood security station a total of 18”, fitting solid surface counter tops and cut-in TV monitors to complete the set-up.
We placed a shield of Kevlar into the walls inside the Republicans’ caucus room, the Democrats’ caucus room, and hearing rooms one and two. This required that we move a set of double doors to accommodate the bulletproofing. Chair rails were added along the marble wall outside these rooms, and a locking gun safe was added to the security area.We completed this project at the end of 2016 in December.
