Scope Of Work

The Gold Canyon United Methodist Church has a robust missions program and a far-reaching food bank operation that were in need of new headquarters. The church purchased a building that had previously been a family restaurant. Through the combined talents of Roberts Jones Associates, Inc. architects and SD Crane Builders, the restaurant was remodeled to fit the needs of the church.
 

The restaurant was equipped with walk-in refrigerated units, an area for dry storage, and a three section sink, which were all repurposed for use in the food bank section of the building. The remaining space was demoed and turned into classrooms for the missions program. A custom set of French doors was added to the entrance which provided a welcoming first impression. An attractive patio with a view of the Superstition Mountains and a gas fireplace was refurbished and painted to provide a space for church fireside activities. Overall, the project was a huge success and we were proud to have taken part.
