Scope Of Work

 For this renovation, the client aimed to preserve the brand essence of the original store for its loyal clientele while creating a modern look to invite new customers. Shawmut coordinated the installation of signature oak millwork, shelving, vitrines, freestanding millwork, and refinished the existing display cases. The store features new LED ceiling fixtures, recessed lighting throughout and within the millwork, Italian stone herringbone tiling and wood flooring with carpet inlay, and a newly refinished wood staircase. Additional scope included a glazing package and a new storefront with Bendheim glass privacy walls, mezzanine glass railings, and glass salon doors. The client also added the newest location of the renowned men’s hair salon, Fleischman, within the flagship. The entire project was an open-store, 3-phase renovation that required dust and noise mitigation and a complex barricade to allow easy and safe access to the space.
