JEF Construction was founded 2010. Since then, we’ve learned that successful projects start with building strong relationships — from understanding our clients’ vision, to staying on budget, to effectively and flexibly collaborating with architects, engineers, and designers.

We specialize in commercial and specialty projects in the San Francisco Bay Area and California’s Central Valley. We have expertise in construction management, sustainable building and general construction, with special interest in commercial and specialty builds.

J.E. Ferguson Construction Inc. was founded by James Ferguson. James holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from California Polytechnic, San Luis Obispo. He is LEED AP certified and is a certified builder for both Rigid Global Buildings and Solar.

Our primary focus is simple – Deliver the client exactly what they want.  We strive to provide innovative solutions and exceptional results.  Every project and client we take on is unique and receives a specialized team to address every involved with the project.

How We Operate

In the efforts to save our clients time and money while delivering them the quality product they expect, we like to get involved with projects in the design phase.  Meeting with architects, engineers, designers, and subcontractors early on, helps to minimize change orders, errors and helps everyone reach their goal – A successful project delivery.

Business Evolution

The construction world is always changing and advancing with new ideas, products and technologies. Originally starting in the Residential Sector, JEFerguson expanded into the commercial and project sectors, as well as tuning into increased demand for green building and sustainable projects.  With a LEED AP on staff, we can meet our clients’ Green Building desires.
