Anthony is a 30-year veteran of the construction industry, including 18 years as vice president of pre-construction for a large commercial builder in Detroit, Michigan. A nationally recognized leader in value analysis, his specialties include integrated project planning, budget development, project benchmarking, and value management. Bango brings to Christman his strong knowledge of the southeast Michigan market, including many long-term industry relationships there. His affiliate organizations include SAVE International (the society for value methodology), through which he is accredited as an Associated Value Specialist and for whom he served on the board of directors of the Greater Michigan chapter.

As vice president in Christman's West Michigan region, Brian is known for the energetic leadership he brings to the projects he directs - particularly large, complex ones, such as the Western Michigan University College of Engineering, Michigan Street Development, Spectrum Health Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion, and the Spectrum Health Blodgett Hospital expansion. Coworkers and clients alike rely on his strong ability to assess and manage construction risk issues and, under his guidance, project team members collaborate to create highly successful outcomes for the entire team. With his significant expertise in engineering and as both a LEED Accredited Professional (AP) and Associate Value Specialist (AVS), Brian is able to deliver a broad spectrum of added value to our clients' projects. He joined the company in 1995 as an intern, was promoted to project manager in 2000, senior project manager in 2004, project executive in 2009, and vice president in 2017.
John A. Holmstrom, P.E.,'s Bio

John leads the Industrial and Power Group and is also responsible for oversight of major special projects and strategic initiatives of Christman. He joined Christman in 1987, holding a variety of positions of increasing responsibility including project engineer, superintendent, project manager, and estimator. He became a full-time estimator in 1993 and was promoted to chief estimator in 1995 and vice president in 1999. He was appointed to Christman's board of directors in 2005. John was promoted to the position of senior vice president in 2008, is a member of Christman's board of directors, and was appointed to Christman's executive committee in 2016.
Marty E. Gibbs, P.E.'s Bio

As the principal-in-charge of Knoxville operations, Marty provides executive oversight of projects and staff throughout the Tennessee region while maintaining key client relationships. Among the critical building blocks Marty brings to ensure delivery of great outcomes for our customers and partners are his collaborative team approach, experience in the market and strong industry involvement. He is a licensed professional engineer and construction specialist in higher education, healthcare and other facilities and is also ASHE Certified and a LEED Green Associate. Marty joined the firm as a project engineer immediately after graduating college in 1998 and was later promoted to project manager in 2001, senior project manager in 2005 and vice president in 2010. He is actively involved with AGC of Tennessee - Knoxville Branch where he has served as board member, vice president, branch president, and is currently serving as past president.

As chief financial officer and treasurer of Christman's board of directors, Matt — a 25-year construction industry veteran - directs all financial operations of Christman and its affiliate companies. His expertise in debt and equity financing are particularly valuable in assisting the company's real estate development group to create sound opportunities for Christman and clients alike. He is also responsible for a wide variety of related areas, including risk management, information systems, benefits administration, and supplier diversity programs. Matt joined Christman in 1999 as controller, promoted to vice president in 2006, to senior vice president in 2008, and to Christman’s executive committee in 2016. He is also a member of the company's board of directors.

Paul oversees all operations for Christman's Mid-Atlantic Constructors and provides leadership for all of the projects performed. Paul joined Christman in 1996 and began working in the mid-Atlantic region in 2005 as a project manager for the general trades work on the Virginia State Capitol. Since that time, Paul has permanently relocated to our Reston office where he oversees our pursuits in the mid-Atlantic region. Paul's professional affiliations include ABC of Virginia.

Steve leads the overall Christman organization at the executive level, including directing the company's strategic planning efforts. He has also been instrumental in creating and expanding Christman's real estate development services and portfolio development. He joined Christman in 1985 as assistant controller and advanced to controller in 1986. He was soon named secretary and treasurer and appointed to the board of directors. Over the next ten years, he took on increasing operations and business development responsibilities. In 1997, he was promoted to senior vice president. In 2000, Steve was elected to the position of president and chief executive officer of The Christman Company - the fifth president in the company's then 117-year history.

Angela E. Bailey's Bio

Angela is responsible for providing marketing/communication leadership and related systems and support to the Christman organization in a broad variety of areas, including corporate image and branding, internal and external communications, client relationship marketing, and public relations. She is a 28-year veteran of the marketing/communication fields, offering a diverse background of professional management experience in the manufacturing, nonprofit and technology sectors. In 2003, she was awarded the Christman Way Cornerstone Award, the company's highest honor in recognition of employee excellence in representation of its core values. Angela joined Christman in 2001 as marketing services manager, was promoted to director of corporate communications in 2004 and to vice president in 2008.
Brian Kayser's Bio

Brian oversees all technology systems for corporate offices and field site offices for Christman and its affiliate companies, including information systems, telecommunications and other technology resources and solutions. He is responsible for establishing and directing the strategic long-term goals, policies and procedures of the information systems team, providing vision and leadership in the development, implementation and support of all technology. His 15-year background as a network analyst/technical consultant afforded him proficiencies in large network design, business continuity planning, technology implementation planning, and computer programming. Brian joined Christman in 2004 as information systems manager, was promoted to director of technology in 2006 and to vice president of information technology in 2008.

As project executive based in Greensboro, North Carolina, Brian is responsible for directing some of the company’s largest, most challenging projects. An experienced construction professional and energetic leader who brings over 15 years of strong customer relationship development and outstanding project outcomes, he is known for his exceptional communication and leadership skills, technical expertise, and forward, analytical thinking. Among Brian’s areas of construction expertise are industrial processing facilities, science and technology buildings, and corporate offices. As a LEED accredited professional, he also brings exceptional knowledge of and experience with planning and implementing truly sustainable building systems.

Chris began his career with Christman as an intern in 1995 while in college. Over the course of nearly two decades, he has developed a strong specialty in delivery of large construction projects on operational campuses, particularly higher education and healthcare facilities, where maintaining mission-critical campus operations uninterrupted is essential. His ability to develop strong working relationships and promote a cohesive team makes him a natural leader. After his internship, Chris was a project engineer until being promoted to project manager in 2000, senior project manager in 2006, project executive in 2014, and vice president in 2017. Chris recently relocated from Lansing to Greensboro where his strong background and systems experience makes him an asset to the team.
Daniel C. LaMore, P.E.'s Bio

A veteran of nearly 25 years in the construction industry, Dan serves as principal in charge of Christman's West Michigan business unit. He is known for his ability to bring maximum value to each project through his special strengths in pre-construction programming, project coordination, client relations, team leadership, and communications. A strong focus on community, mentoring and diversity is reflected in opportunities created through both his construction projects and volunteerism efforts, which include Habitat for Humanity, YMCA, Grand Rapids Public Schools School of Construction, Blandford Nature Center and others. Dan was promoted to the position of senior vice president in 2008. He is also a member of the company's board of directors.
F. Reid Linthicum's Bio

A 37-year veteran of the construction industry, Reid has been with the company for 35 years in roles of increasing responsibility. A valuable, seasoned member of our Greensboro, NC regional management team, he provides executive oversight of project operations and performance to ensure successful outcomes for customers. Reid began his career with the company as a foreman, earning steady promotions through the ranks as assistant project superintendent, superintendent, project manager, senior project manager, and assistant vice president before his appointment to vice president in 2002. An ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor, Reid has significant experience in a variety of facility types and has overseen some of our largest and most complex projects. His experience includes serving in a curriculum-shaping leadership role on the Guilford Technical Community College construction management. As a sworn law enforcement officer, he serves the Randolph County community by answering 9-1-1 calls on the weekends, a commitment he has maintained for over 30 years.
Jacob Z. Kulhanek, P.E.'s Bio

Jacob, a 23-year veteran of the construction industry, joined the company in 2001 and serves as Vice President of Regional Operations in Lansing, Michigan. Jacob has a proven track record of managing large, complex projects including K-12, healthcare, senior living, office and data centers. He has stepped forward multiple times to lead special projects, including a transformational corporate scheduling standards initiative. He is Licensed Professional Engineer, LEED Accredited Professional and Accredited Tier Designer (ATD). The first member of a construction management firm to achieve the ATD accreditation in the state of Michigan, and one of only a handful nationally, he is able to provide an enhanced level of expertise for planning and implementing Uptime Instituted Accredited Data Center facilities.

Jay oversees all construction operations for The Christman Company with responsibility for providing field leadership and maintaining all systems necessary to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and cost control. He also serves as principal in charge of individual projects for a select number of the firm's longest-term clients. He joined the company in 1984 as project engineer and in 1985 advanced to project manager. He was promoted to vice president in 1990, to senior vice president in charge of construction operations in 1997, and to executive vice president in 2012. He was appointed to the board of directors in 1993, and is a member of the company’s executive committee.
Jeffrey R. Arlington's Bio

Jeff serves as a project leader in our Knoxville, Tennessee office. He brings over 30 years of hands-on construction expertise, joining the company as a project engineer in 1994 after working on construction projects as a laborer, layout engineer, and field manager. He was subsequently promoted to project executive in 2006, and to vice president in 2008. His exceptional managerial strengths include his aptitude for maintaining tight project controls, his ability for successfully building positive client and partner relationships, and his adeptness in reviewing projects from both the perspective of the field and the client. Jeff has distinguished the company’s project portfolio – especially those in higher education and historic preservation – with a long list of successes, including national awards for project excellence.
Ronald D. Staley, FAPT's Bio

Ron serves as principal in charge of both Christman's Southeast Michigan business unit located in Detroit and the company's historic preservation unit, having returned to Michigan after establishing Christman's Washington, D.C. operations in 2003. Joining Christman as a project manager in 1985, Ron was promoted to Christman vice president in 1990, and to Christman's board of directors in 1995. In 1992, he founded Christman's historic preservation group and has since led it to national prominence, directing multiple, highly visible preservation projects to national, state and local awards for teamwork, unique delivery methods and quality. He brings to all his projects a strong background in management systems, understanding of early project planning, pre-construction and design services, and successful construction delivery. In 2000, Ron was honored by AIA Michigan as an Honorary Affiliate Member and in 2005, was appointed as Fellow with the Association of Preservation Technology International (APT). Ron was promoted to the position of senior vice president in 2008, and is a member of Christman's board of directors.
Ryan J. Anderson, P.E.,'s Bio

Ryan serves as principal in charge in Christman's mid-Atlantic office, leading project teams to success in both the public and private sectors. An expert in planning, scheduling, risk management, and coordinating the efforts of all team members, Ryan constantly focuses on finding ways to deliver greater value to clients. As a licensed professional engineer with bachelors and masters degrees in engineering, Ryan has exceptional technical expertise required for the largest and most complex, challenging projects. His experience at the United States Military Academy at West Point, and later in the US Army Corp of Engineers, helped develop him into a leader of character that is dedicated to honoring all commitments with integrity and ensuring that his projects are delivered safely, on-time and within budget, with outstanding results for clients. Ryan joined Christman in 2005 as a project engineer, was promoted to senior project manager in 2011, to project executive in 2013, and to vice president in 2015. Ryan was also instrumental in the establishment of Christman's federal projects group in 2011.

For over two decades, Tim has developed the core principles and approach of a pre-construction program that focuses upon precise early estimates, cost certainty, design collaboration, value options, transparency, and the importance of being a partner with respect to a client's purpose and business goals. Tim joined the firm in 1993 as a senior estimator and was promoted to manager of estimating in 1995 and to his current role as principal in charge of the Greensboro, North Carolina office in 2007. He was appointed to the board of directors in 2017.

With Christman since 2012, Amy brings 20 years of experience in translating complex organizational needs into transformational business outcomes. She contributes to the continuous improvement of Christman's systems and strategic thinking, with a consultative, solution-oriented style and expertise in aligning vision to action. Current community commitments include Michigan State University's Michigan Political Leadership Program Advisory Board, the Michigan Architectural Foundation Silent Auction Committee and Ele's Place Lansing Community Board.
