Shad Lawton is the President and General Manager of the company. He grew up “in the business” as they say and worked as a framer throughout high school and during his college years. After several years working throughout the lakes region and ski country of NH, VT and ME he had to fulfill his destiny by taking a mandatory ski bum pilgrimage to Lake Tahoe where he further honed his skills building Lake Homes and Resort Lodge and Hotel Buildings at and around Heavenly Resort in addition to discovering the joy of endless sunshine and bottomless powder. He returned to the family company as a Superintendent in 1999 and purchased the company with his wife Janel in 2014. Shad brings a well trained eye for quality craftsmanship, tenacious attention to detail, and a commitment to building strong relationships to the business.
Bradford Weekes joined Lawton Company as an apprentice Project
Manager in 2016; while finishing his BA in Accounting and working on a
Future Business Leaders in Construction Certificate from ABC. In 2020,
Bradford stepped into the role of full Project Manager, managing
contract administration, prequalification and bid preparation,
estimating, purchasing, and subcontract management. Bradford’s
versatility and work ethic make him an asset in the office as well as
in the field.
Josh Lawton joined Lawton Company in 2020 as General Superintendent,
Construction Operations. Josh grew-up in the construction industry
with many years of experience in Maintenance, Quality Control and
Project Management. Josh spent over a decade teaching high school
humanities before returning to his roots in construction. In his role
as General Super, Josh is on-site managing all phases of construction projects.
