Elmer L. Henn, Inc.

Elmer L. Henn Inc. is a 96 year old company in its third generation and in the same location.

In 1925, Elmer L. Henn earned his degree from Cooper Union's prestigious School of Architecture in New York City. The following year he became a building contractor as well, combining his design and engineering capabilities with genuine hands-on approach to construction.

In 1959, his son, Edwin F. Henn graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He joined the family firm in 1961, succeeding his father as president in 1968.

In 1989, Thomas J. Henn and Theodore S. Henn, grandsons of the founder, joined the family business. Thomas is a Construction Engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Theodore is a construction Engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree from Syrancuse University. As President and Vice President they are successfully bringing the company in to the millennium.
