Scope Of Work
Floor Systems:
Epoxy Quartz Broadcast Floors – 56,360 SF
Trowel Epoxy Quartz Cove Base – 7,700 LF
Special Requirements:
The plant required new flooring systems in all clean rooms. The existing floors were removed completely to prepare for the new floor system.
The floors were shot-blasted for preparation of the new system. The shot-blast equipment, as well as the floor sanders and diamond grinders, employed dust-control shrouds with HEPA Vacuum Filtration Systems.
Industrial Flooring Services, Inc. had 60 men employed on this project. The work was accomplished by scheduling two 12-hour shifts, working 24 hours per day for the entire 7 days. This project had a high degree of difficulty and a short amount of time to complete. With good coordination and scheduling between plant personnel and the crews and management of Industrial Flooring Services, Inc., we were able to complete this project on time and on budget.
