Granite Avenue Utility Corp

Granite Avenue Utility Corp. is a family owned, and full service corporation. We work with some of the largest Utility companies, private developers, and Government entities and are currently the Master Contractor for Verizon for the entire borough of Staten Island since 1993.

We are an ALL-UNION company and have affiliations with the following Unions: Local 14 & Local 15 Operating Engineers, Local 731 laborers, Local 282 teamsters, Local 1010 pavers and road builders. Our men are OSHA certified trained and educated; safety and efficiency is our priority when it comes to our work.

Our main focus is utility excavation and conduit installation. We also specialize in repair work for underground cable failures, paving, concrete, and general landscaping. Our permanent labor force is one of the most experienced and qualified in the business. We will continue to give our utmost attention to safety, quality control, innovation, and customer service. 

We have an extensive amount of equipment to handle all aspects of construction. Additionally, we have a 35,000 square foot yard to facilitate all of our construction needs. Our fleet consists of Large/small dump trucks, backhoes, excavators, Zim mixer, Equipment trailers, utility vans, compressors and all necessary hand tools. Our equipment is thoroughly maintained and ready to move at any time, day or night.

For three generations, we’ve always stressed that there will be no compromise with the safety of our job sites and surroundings. Our goal is to eliminate all occupational accidents and incidents. This can only be met with the complete cooperation and dedication of every employee we have.We continue to try and diversify our business and form new relationships to meet the demands of constant industry changes.
