Our Story
Our owners, Hank Hornaday and Mark Purcell, started CEC, Inc over 20 years ago in Indianapolis. With backgrounds in electrical engineering since 1998, our company understands what commercial and industrial projects require from the beginning design phase through the lights being turned on at the finish.
We do not overlook the small details in projects of all sizes, and prefer the medium to large-scale developments. Our specialties include industrial, multi-family/apartments, education (k-12 and college), offices, and more. While you may not recognize our unmarked fleet vehicles, CEC's reputation has been built on our relationships and our quality of workmanship.
Our services include everything turnkey electrical: from electrical excavation, cabling, and low voltage to lighting (indoor and outdoor), access control, alarms, and more. We have also been involved with developers, architects and engineers in the design phase of the project.
