Scope Of Work

Allstate Construction was selected to construct a new library in this historically-quaint, seaside community. We were selected early in the design phase, allowing our team to ensure the budget was maintained.  We worked with the project team to provide value-based options regarding brick, stone, lighting, HVAC systems, doors and windows, and the site work. Cost savings will be recognized through implementation of an owner direct purchase tax savings program.  Involvement with local subcontractors is important.  40% of the subcontracted work is with local subcontractors.  The building will utilize reclaimed, local granite (originally used as ballasts in cotton ships from the 1800s), and heart pine for columns and trim. The site is located near several local businesses and currently shares parking with a local doctor’s office.  We are coordinating closely with these neighbors to ensure that the construction process has minimal disruption their daily activities, and to show that Allstate Construction is a good neighbor, caring about each community in which we work.
