Scope Of Work
This project included construction of a new pipe pile supported concrete harbor walk, modifications to the existing Footprint pier to accommodate the berthing of cruise ships, a walkway from the Footprint pier to the Blaney Street Terminal, final paving and striping of the Blaney Street Terminal, new lighting, fencing and landscaping. Special challenges of project included working at both the secure Footprint site and public Blaney Street site of this project, meeting completion of phase one of Footprint Harborwalk construction to accommodate the inaugural cruise ship arrival as part of the City of Salem’s initiative. The winter of 2015 posed significant challenges on this project where we could not access the worksite until the end of March 2015.
