Scope Of Work
Betsy Ross was asked to remove, rebuild, and re-install 3 flagpoles (up to 70-footers). This project included several challenges: An extremely tight construction schedule occurring during the shortened summer term; a highly concentrated construction zone with numerous, simultaneous trades at work; and a legacy worksite with unknown and un-recorded underground facilities in place.
Betsy Ross worked in close concert with Hill & Wilkinson project management to schedule late night and weekend work to stay on schedule and to avoid proximity work with other trades, especially during events of aerial work. Betsy Ross engaged several methods of excavation to avoid damage to unknown underground facilities. Hill & Wilkinson was up to the task and Betsy Ross was a proud partner.
The flagpole installation really provides the final touch to a beautiful plaza renewal by the General Contractor. The TCU administration was overjoyed with the final result. Betsy Ross is proud of the project outcome.
