Scope Of Work

The Bank of Stanly offices in Locust, NC occupy a prominent corner near the entrance of the new Locust Town Center development. Locust Town Center is a newly created downtown reminiscent of many smaller, rural towns found throughout the southeastern United States. The development is slated to include civic buildings, office and commercial uses and residential options as well.

The bank leadership wanted a new facility to take advantage of this significant site and an architectural expression, inside and outside, that would represent the charm of the community.

The two-story Bank of Stanly building was designed to reflect the character of “main street type” mercantile buildings of previous eras. Materials, details, interior finishes and furnishings all reflect the local charm of commercial buildings found throughout Stanly County. Much of the interior lobby furniture was custom designed and built by local craftsmen.
