Our Story

Founded in 1923, United Materials has earned a sterling reputation as a successful performer in the commercial and industrial sectors, serving private clientele, as well as city, state and federal governments in multiple geographies.  As a state and federal contractor, United Materials has proudly served many geographies in the U.S., but none so important as the City and County of Denver and the State of Colorado.  Much of our time has been spent carrying on the tradition of public service.  We believe that success in many ways can only be measured by service to others.

For United Materials, our passion isn't necessarily putting roofs on buildings, but it is about preserving the legacy within the building; the ideas and people that warranted the construction of the building in the first place.  Everyday, we look for the next group of public servants, teachers, students, business owners, or historians who may benefit from our ability to keep them safe, dry and warm, so that they may continue the work that enriches Colorado in a thousand varied ways.

Our focus is also on historical projects such as:

Byron White Courthouse - Byron Rogers CH - Cesar Chavez CH - Federal Center Buildings - #810, 20 & 56, 41

Over the last 98 years, we have evolved with improved roofing technologies, while staying faithful to fundamental principles: When fiscal responsibility is fused with a commitment to the environment, the benefits are conveyed to the asset stakeholders across the spectrum.

Our aim is to simply deliver that "one thing" - a solution.  Placing an emphasis on warranty-craftsmanship and customer satisfaction have made United Materials a repeated choice for the installation, repair and maintenance for a range of projects.  We believe our solution to any roofing issue should be:

                                                    sustainable - warranted - cost effective - energy-efficient

Our goals have included

   1.  Recycling materials

   2. Minimizing environmental impact

   3. Delivery of enduring solutions
