Brandon Jennings, PRESIDENT

The Owner and President of BJ Construction, Brandon Jennings has built his company to satisfy his customers’ needs in the Carpentry & Millwork industry. Keeping a close eye on detail and timing, he strives to maintain a quality product in a fast-past environment.

Growing up in St. Clair Shores Michigan, Brandon started building at 13 years old with a residential builder, quickly he realized the commercial market is where he wanted to focus. Brandon started BJC at 18 years old with only a few carpenters, he has since then continually grown the business into a multi-faceted construction company with a large focus on interior millwork. Keeping to the East Side, Brandon lives near Lake St Clair with his wife and 2 sons, and enjoys boating, fishing, and hunting.

Dawn Ozark, VICE PRESIDENT

Dawn Ozark joined BJ Construction in October 2010. As Vice President Dawn oversees the finance and accounting functions and brings extensive financial and leadership experience to BJC.

Prior to joining BJ Construction, Dawn was the Vice President for a union company with 150+ employees where she was responsible for financial and business operations. Dawn has 25+ years in the construction industry. Dawn enjoys spending her free time with friends and family including hobbies such as boating and shopping.

Nick Murray, ESTIMATOR

Nick joined BJ Construction in July of 2016. As an Estimator Nick can quote and budget carpentry projects and is involved in the process from bidding to completion.

Before joining BJC he was a CAD operator for 15 years drawing and engineering over 1,000 buildings with metal stud framing. Nick has 18+ years in the construction industry. Nick likes to spend his free time with his wife and two childern and is active in his daughters figure skating club.

Mike Zuckero was introduced to the Custom Commercial fabrication industry at a very young age working at his family’s manufacturing business. He is third generation in this industry with family history dating back to 1949 and he himself is a former custom furniture fabrication shop owner. He decided to close his business and join BJ Construction in January of 2016. He is our senior project manager who oversees a variety of projects including healthcare, retail, restaurant, and professional spaces. Mike works closely with Shop and Field personnel to strengthen the flow of communication to ensure the highest quality product and possible outcome for a project. He communicates directly with Customers, contractors, and designers involved with projects to meet your project expectations.

Mike is a Macomb Twp resident with his Wife and two sons. In his spare time he enjoys reading, taking his family to the movies, and watching his boys shoot Archery. He is a do it yourselfer, who loves to gain knowledge to learn new tasks and trades. He hopes that his boys will show interest in the custom fabrication industry as he did.

Tyler comes to BJC with a background in Commercial Carpentry and Project Estimating. He started his career as a carpenter and has gained experience from seeing projects through in the field and the office. He enjoys the fast pace and challenges that this industry brings. Tyler believes a good work ethic and a strong team is the core elements that make BJC such a successful and great place to work.

Tyler is an active outdoorsman spending most of his free time wading through the rivers and woods of Northern Michigan. If he isn’t out fishing, he likes to spend time golfing with friends or finding a new local brewery.
