As the Vice President of Landscape, Nancy is responsible for building Rubicon Landscape Group to support the mission of transforming landscapes by transforming lives. She leads a team of over 50 Account Managers, Operations Supervisors, Gardeners, and Day Porters. Through Nancy’s previous roles, she’s seen all aspects of the landscaping industry. Between running her own vineyard installation/maintenance business as a C-27 contractor, developing an innovative gardening service for a Silicon Valley tech startup, overseeing fine gardening operations in San Francisco, and teaching vocational training classes for gardeners just entering the industry, Nancy has perfected her skills on creating outdoor spaces that people love.

Eric was hired as a Foreman for Rubicon in 2013 and has over 12 years experience in the landscaping industry. Eric has a B.A. in History from the University of the Pacific and studied Environmental Horticulture at Foothill College in Los Altos. He is a Rescape Qualified Professional (RQP) and has a C-27 landscape contractor’s license. Passionate about landscape improvement, helping the environment and is an impressive asset to the Rubicon Landscape team. Eric excels in customer service going the extra mile for Rubicon’s customer and staff.

James has worked in the landscape industry for nearly 30 years, gaining expertise in turf management and vegetation control. As a California Qualified Applicator, Jim oversees and trains Rubicon employees on integrated pest control. Jim holds all staff accountable to making safety the #1 priority.

He keeps up to date on changes in the safety regulations and he’s been especially diligent in rolling out new pandemic-related health and safety protocols. Jim is approaching his 25th anniversary with Rubicon — his long term clients and coworkers appciate his dedication to teamwork and the joyful attitude to brings to work every day

Specializing in Irrigation, Pedro has over 10 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing a variety of irrigation systems, including drip irrigation, drainage repair and other landscape focused services. Pedro is familiar with most systems including Rainmaster, DX2, Sentinel, MC, I-Core, and ESP-LX controllers.

Pedro has attended factory trained classes provided by Rain Bird and Hunter. Pedro also has extensive experience in landscape construction and training in horticulture including plant, insect and disease identification. An amateur soccer player, he understands the importance of a healthy and well groomed playing fields.

Michael is the Director of Administration with a Successful 15-year track record of implementing organizational change management. Identifying inefficiencies and recommend strategic improvement initiatives, as well as researching and deploying technological solutions to increase efficiency and automate processes.

Accomplished leader, recognized for building, training, and mentoring cross-functional teams for consistently meeting and exceeding set performance goals. Demonstrated record of building successful multi-cultural and generational teams; while leading profitable operations with a servant leadership mindset in a startup, rapid change environment. #US Army Veteran.

Lila started as the Office Manager for Rubicon Landscape Group in March 2023. In this role, she seeks to support team members with Human Resources questions in English and Spanish. And, to help with office accounting so that we can be a lean and green office and team. Lila comes to Rubicon Landscape after 17 years with Rubicon programs, managing programs and projects to break the cycle of poverty with families and folks coming out of incarceration. She loves that Rubicon Landscape is a Social Enterprise and holds the quadruple bottom line as her business values: people, planet, profit, and progress.

Prior to coming to Rubicon Programs, Lila worked in Caracas, Venezuela, and San Francisco in faith-based community organizing. Lila loves green, growing things, and beautifying spaces, and one of her first positions out of college at San Francisco State University involved briefly leading a landscaping crew of middle schoolers.
