Colorado Mechanical Insulation, Inc.

Robert Miner has worked in the mechanical insulation industry for more than 25 years, beginning his career as an insulator with Alpine Mechanical Insulation. Under his leadership, the company has grown to employ nearly 70 individuals, and has become a leading insulator in CO, WY, and UT. He is responsible for all estimating, project management, design and engineering supervision, as well as defining our corporate strategy and direction. He holds a B.A. in Business Management and Marketing from Colorado State University.

Tonya joined us in January 2016. Prior to working at CMI, Tonya was the Service Coordinator for Dynalectric-CO, Project Assistant at The RMH Group, Inc. and has worked in the construction/design industry for 16 years. Her responsibilities include assisting our project management and field staff, administration of the CMI Safety Program, process improvements, fleet management, and interfacing with our clients regarding contract change pricing and progress billings.

Will started with CMI in 2009 as a firestop sales person, and currently serves as our Firestop Division Manager. Under his leadership, sales in our firestop division have become a major source of overall revenue, and his team continues to complete projects of increasing scope and size. Prior to CMI, Will was the Operations Manager for Schaefer Lawn Sprinklers, Inc, a company he worked with for 24 years. He studied Industrial Construction Management at Colorado State University, and Managerial Entrepreneurship at Metropolitan State College.

Kelly has worked with us since February, 2014, and brought with him more than 26 years of commercial and industrial insulation project design, estimating, and management experience. He developed an encapsulated pipe covering system for clean room applications, and continues to apply his knowledge and experience to design cost-effective project solutions for our clients.

Randy joined our team in March, 2014, as a project foreman, and is currently serving as one of our estimators. Randy has more than 30 years of experience in the mechanical insulation industry, and has successfully completed projects of all scope and size. Prior to CMI, Randy was a Field Superintendent for Systems Undercover.

Chris is the newest member of the CMI team, joining us in May 2016 as our Operations Manager.
He holds a B.S. in construction management from Colorado State University and he is also OSHA 30 hour certified.
Prior to working at CMI Chris was project manager at HPE inc. where he managed large commercial projects. And a project manager for Churches helping Churches, overseeing the construction of more than 20 churches in Haiti.

Jose has been with CMI for more than a decade and serves as a project field superintendent. He is currently supervising work on four buildings and the concourse at the Denver VA Medical Center in Aurora, CO, scheduling work, managing field crews, the quality assurance and safety programs, and working with our clients to complete our projects ahead of schedule and under budget.
