Bill serves as President for all companies within the Conservation and Renewable Energy Group of Gibraltar Industries. This includes: Rough Brother’s, Inc. (RBI), RBI Structures, Nexus Corporation; and the solar energy companies: RBI Solar, Renusol and Solar Bos.
Craig started with Nexus Corporation as a structural engineer in 1982 after graduating from Purdue University. Through the years he has held various positions from heading the engineering department to leading the commercial sales team at Nexus. Currently, he has oversees the commercial team at RBI and Nexus, and helps to manage the integration of the two companies, their employees and product lines.
Joe and his team design, engineer, manufacture and construct specialty structural framing and glazing systems for a wide variety of applications, including, but not limited to: car wash buildings, glass canopies, atriums, skylights, walkway covers, canopies, pool enclosures and other non-plant related glass structures; as well as BIPV solar shade canopies, in conjunction with the RBI Solar division.
John began as an estimator and project manager for the Institutional Division, and then became a Division Manager for Mass Retail. He briefly left RBI, but returned in 2014 to lead the Solar Ground Mount Division for RBI Solar. John has a BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago, and has PMP Certification.
Kevin leads the manufacturing operations of the Rough Brothers greenhouse and the RBI Solar businesses. He joined Rough Brothers in 2019. His previous 24 years were spent in Engineering and Manufacturing Leadership in the automotive and compression technologies industries. Kevin spent a significant portion of his career with Ford Motor Company in both design engineering and manufacturing divisions. He also spent a portion of his career in Ingersoll Rand’s Compression Technologies division. Kevin has engineering degrees from the University of Rhode Island and Purdue University.
Nick joined RBI in 2012 as an Assistant Project Manager and has being promoted a number of times, to his current role in 2018. He is excited for this role and the opportunity to continue to build this branch of RBI. His duties include everything from new construction projects to day-to-day maintenance and everything in between. He holds a BS in Construction Management from Ohio Northern University.
Ryan serves as both the Conservatory and Institutional Division Manager. Ryan and his team are responsible for the design, engineering, estimating, manufacturing, contracting, construction (and/or renovation) of a wide birth of customer clients, including schools, colleges, universities, private research facilities, public research facilities, conservatories, zoos, arboretums, aviaries, and botanical gardens.
Sarah is responsible for creating and implementing people strategies that allow RBI to recruit, retain, and engage the most valuable part of our business; our employees. Sarah believes that the key to unlocking organizational potential is fostering a culture of collaboration and creative problem solving among all employees When she is not helping to grow our amazing talent pool at RBI, you can find Sarah chasing her 3 kids around a playground, or out on the lake in her kayak.
Tom manages Rough Brothers, Inc. and Nexus Corporation. These companies and brands are part of Gibraltar’s Conservation and Renewable Energy Group. This platform provides research, education, retail, or commercial greenhouse structures, systems, and installations; indoor cannabis cultivation facilities; in addition to translucent carwash structures and installations. Tom currently serves as President for the National Greenhouse Manufacturers Association (NGMA ).
Sable oversees marketing efforts across divisions and brands. She works to create a progressive customer-focused experience, while maintaining a creative approach to her work. She currently sits on the National Cannabis Industry Association’s (NCIA) Facilities Design Committee, and serves on the American Public Garden's Association (APGA) Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) Committee. She joined RBI after returning from West Africa, where she was Communications Director for an agricultural startup. Sable is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati.
Joe leads all finance and accounting activities for the Rough Brothers greenhouse and the RBI Solar businesses.He joined Rough Brothers 2018 and has 18 years of finance and leadership across several industries including consumer products, medical devices, industrial products and retail from Johnson & Johnson, General Electric and Luxottica. Joe is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University.
