Born raised in the Bay Area, Kent was immersed into the fine home building industry as a young boy. He helped his dad build an addition to their family home at age 7, in his teen years helped construct his family vacation home in Truckee.
Kent worked for over 10 years for Harold Smith Co. ( a renowned custom home builder) in the Alamo, Danville, Moraga areas of the East Bay. He has “hands-on experience” from ground breaking to the finished product. He then pursued his love for construction and went into the architectural millwork industry in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. He managed multi-million dollar projects in the commercial millwork, tenant improvement, and estate home markets. This is where he learned the extreme level of finishes he is now accustomed to. The combination of his career pursuits lead to his passion in building estate homes and remodels with such an acute attention to detail in all aspects of the project.
After building several homes for his family, Kent has settled in the foothills of the Sacramento Valley area where he lives with his wife, Ann Marie, and daughters Nicole and Daria. The family enjoys all the amenities the foothills offer such as skiing, boating, local wineries, walking and biking trails, community events and entertaining with family and friends. Kent currently sits on the board for the Serrano Design Review Committee. He understands the importance of working with design committees and building jurisdictions to streamline the planning process for his clients. He has built and remodeled numerous homes in the foothills and Sacramento Valley area.
