Daniel S. Bernstein's Bio
Daniel Bernstein is a grandson of the company founder, Alexander Wolf, and has been a partner with Richard Wolf since 1977. He received a B.S. in engineering from Cornell University and subsequently earned a M.B.A. from New York University. Mr. Bernstein administers his forty years of technical and field experience into all aspects of Alexander Wolf & Son’s projects. His review of conceptual designs and construction feasibility allow our projects to be completed in a timely manner within the clients’ budget. Each project awarded to AW&S that is directly supervised by Mr. Bernstein, receives his personal attention, essential to guaranteeing the client’s complete satisfaction.
Daniel is a certified construction industry arbitrator and a former Vice President of the Board of 1070 Park Avenue, past Member of the Board of the Solomon Schechter School, Trustee of Park Avenue Synagogue and also served on the School Board Ritual Committee and Finance Committee.
Peter J. Bernstein's Bio
Peter Bernstein is the Director of Operations at Alexander Wolf & Son, a 111 year old general contracting firm started by his great-grandfather on the lower east side of Manhattan. At AW&S, Peter oversees all field operations, sales and estimating. Peter has overseen the renovation of over $100 million dollars worth of construction projects, including tenant improvement, landlord base building, residential and institutional construction. Prior to working at AW&S, he was a project manager at Turner Construction Company in New York. He received an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business in 2007 and a BS in Civil Engineering from Cornell University in 2003.
Peter is a member of the board of the Professional and Leadership division of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the YM/YWHA of Washington Heights. He served as the co-chair of the new leadership division of Israel Bonds from 2012 to 2014 and was named one of 36 under 36 by the Jewish Week in 2014. He resides on the upper west side with his wife Jennifer and their 4-year old son Benjamin and 2-year old son Eli.
