Scope Of Work
This project required the renovation of approximately 7,000SF of former laboratory space to create a comprehensive women’s breast health center set in a spa-like atmosphere. The facility offers cutting-edge diagnostic testing and comprehensive care in a comforting and warm environment featuring private patient suites, a gas fireplace, waterfall, and an inviting reception area.
PHARMACY
The pharmacy project was constructed in existing space within the hospital while maintaining patient care. This project required specialty equipment such as biohazard cabinetry and Class II Laminar flow hoods.
CAT SCAN
The Somatom Definition AS 64 project required the planning, removal and replacement of the CAT Scan Unit. The scope of work included front end loading, design development, plans and specifications required for permit and construction. Extensive coordination between Siemens Corporation, the provider of the new 64 Slice CAT Scan Unit and Bristol Hospital was required.
SLEEP CENTER
ACGNA constructed the new Sleep Lab at Bristol Hospital under the design-build delivery method. Special care was taken in the design and construction of this suite to provide a model setting for a restful experience, which meets the needs of all patients. Two major elements of the patient rooms’ integrity are the bariatric room design and the acoustical isolation from exterior noise.
THE CENTER FOR WOUND CARE AND THE OXYGEN FARM
These projects were built concurrently. There was no interruption in oxygen service when the new system was brought online.
