Scope Of Work
This project consisted of the erection of catenary towers over active railroad tracks for PATH and NJ Transit. Ferreira erected the towers over two mainline and two side line tracks, working around low clearance wires.
Due to the location of the project which was a mile west of Hoboken, Ferreira value engineered the project to minimize track closures by working with a steel fabricator and preassembled the catenary towers resulting in only having to close the track for one night. This minimized disruption to the rail line and resulted in the project being on-time and under budget.
